If a fixed setting temperature can tolerate a range of approximately DIFF. 3.5 to 15°C, the bimetal thermostat is suitable. The bimetal thermostat that uses two bimetals is also referred to as a "control type thermostat." Additionally, it offers higher precision and longer lifespan than disk-type thermostats, and is more affordable than electronic thermostats.
